The main event of the day is the boat tour of the cavern's at Penn's Cave. Please be there by 1:30PM so we can be on the 2PM tour. Details at http://www.pennscave.com/  The trip is quite a distance from the major cities in PA but It's a chance to take a real country road trip and get away.

 If you can stay for the night, I will be going afterwards to Cherry Springs State Park starting at dusk to see the stars at the best viewing spot in the state. See details here: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/findapark/cherrysprings/index.htm Obviously you might want to make overnight arrangements in the area if you go to stargaze. Sites such as Trip Advisor can be helpful in finding an overnight place to stay. See more details at the Cherry Spring activity listed as a separate event.

Use GPS or Google Maps to locate 222 Penns Cave Road, Centre Hall PA 16828. (814-364-1664). Meet at the ticket booth. Admission $17.50. Cell phones don't work well in these areas so please be on time. Penns Cave is northeast of State College, Pa.
