Cavern Exploration at Penn's Cave

We had a beautiful day to hike at Penns Cave and enjoy the mysteries of the caverns. The cave was once filled with water but as the water level dropped, the beautiful caverns formed. Afterwards we had dinner together. I received several emails for members saying how much they enjoyed the day. Thanks guys for driving so far for this one. It definitely was worth it.

The main event of the day is the boat tour of the cavern's at Penn's Cave. Please be there by 1:30PM so we can be on the 2PM tour. Details at http://www.pennscave.com/  The trip is quite a distance from the major cities in PA but It's a chance to take a real country road trip and get away.

 If you can stay for the night, I will be going afterwards to Cherry Springs State Park starting at dusk to see the stars at the best viewing spot in the state.
