A weekend in the outdoors, together
GO Gatherings are our summer camping weekends with a big turnout, where members come together to hike, paddle, swim and more — with campfires each night and a Saturday-night potluck. It's one of the best ways to meet GOers, reconnect with old friends, and experience the come-as-you-are, relaxed vibe that GayOutdoors is all about.
Camp Together
Set up camp with the group for a full weekend in the outdoors. Tent sites, good company, and starry nights.
Hike, Paddle & Swim
Daytime activities for all levels — hiking, paddling, swimming holes, and more, hosted by fellow members.
Campfires Each Night
Gather around the fire every evening — the heart of the weekend, where stories are swapped and friendships form.
Saturday Potluck
A big Saturday-night potluck brings everyone together to share a meal and celebrate the weekend.
What the Gathering Is About
Members post Social Events all year to meet other GOers — gay bar meet-ups, holiday parties, potlucks, cookouts, and campfires — to get to know the outdoorzy guys you'll be enjoying adventures with. The GO Gathering is the summer's flagship version of that: a multi-day camping weekend with a big turnout.
It's a come-as-you-are, relaxed event, and it's the perfect way to check out GayOutdoors and get a good sense of what we're all about. Reconnect with existing friends and the new friends you've made recently through GayOutdoors.
Our social events are open to everyone; however, some activities may be restricted to our sustaining members who financially support us.
