The trip report

Written by Carl

Thank you to everyone who joined me for this epic, jaw-dropping adventure through the wild woods of Leominster, MA. The conversation ranged from not-politics to not-politics then slight-politics and landed at rubus cockburnianus. It was a great day with wonderful guys. Until next time!

About this event

This hike was cancelled twice this spring because of the weather.  Having said that, back by popular demand (okay--just one person), I'm reposting this.   Join us for a hike in Leominster State Forest of Rocky Pond, Ball Hill, and Lower Crow Hill Pond Trail.  The trail is 6.5 miles long with 862' of elevation gain.  There is a link to the AllTrails map below.  Be sure to bring proper footwear, a lunch, water, the 10 essentials of hiking (link below), pom poms, a bottle of bubbles, butterfly wings, and a unicorn.  Or just the 10 essentials and lunch; your choice.  I hope you can join us!

Hi everyone. The weather is looking good for Sunday. Not Saturday, but Sunday--yes! It's supposed to be 80 and mostly sunny, though it will be muddy and buggy from rain the day before. I will send an email to everyone with my phone number. There is not great reception at Leominster State Forest, so try to go early enough to find the right lot. I look forward to seeing everyone on Sunday at 9am!
