About this event
PLEASE NOTE THIS HIKE TAKES PLACE IN COASTAL MAINE Meet at the parking area for the trail on W Shore Rd. The Bonyun preserve Loop is an easy 2.3 mile, 160ft elevation hike through the woods with wonderful water views! Depending on weather, we might be able to make it an optional snow shooing hike. This is a good opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and to meet other gay men. After the hike, we can all gather at the Barnhouse Pub on Rt 1 Wiscasset for lunch and beverages.
Rt 144 runs through Westport Island. If you make a right onto W. Shore Rd you will find the trail parking area between Junction Rd and Bonyun Rd on the left side, about 0.25 miles.
Make sure to dress warm and bring ice grippers, microspikes, etc... If you have snowshoes bring them as well depending on the weather.
