CANCELLED-Carter Dome & Mt. Hight

The views are spectacular!!!

We’ll take the Nineteen Mile Brook Trail to the Carter Lakes / Carter Notch Hut (3.8 miles).

Then we’ll take a left onto the Carter Moriah Trail (part of the AT) to Carter Dome (1.2 miles).

Heading north from there we’ll continue to Mt. Hight (.8 miles). Mt. Hight has 360 degree views and minimal elevation gain.

Then ,via Zeta Pass, we’ll make out way down via the Carter Dome Trail back to the Nineteen Mile Brook Trail to parking (4.4 miles).

Approximate Distance: 10.2 miles

Approximate Elevation Gain: 3,530 feet 

Estimate Time: 7.5 hrs (with breaks & lunch)
