About this event
Mount Chocorua is calling. This is a great hike with spectacular views especially during fall foliage. The hike is a loop - slightly under 10 miles. Starting at the Piper Trailhead we will take the following trails on our ascent: Piper, Nickerson, Carter Ledge, Middle Sister then back on Piper to the summit. Our descent will be via the Liberty trail onto Hammond to the Weetamoo (a beautiful trail in the fall) then back onto Piper.
There are terrific views from the Sisters and 360 views from Mount Chocoura. To quote one website: “Mt. Chocorua looks like the summit of a peak you may find in the Colorado Rockies!”
