MCLEAN GAME REFUGE HIKE (CT)

It was a beautiful June morning. 7 hikers and 1 dog showed up and enjoyed an easy 5-1/2 mile hike under the shade of the forest canopy. Included near the end was a stimulating hike up and over one of the Barndoor Hills. After the hike, all participants met at the Cambridge Brew House for a late lunch and some camaraderie. Thanks to all who participated.

Please join us on a hike through the McLean Game Refuge in Granby, CT.

This will be a 5-6 mile, 2-3 hour hike through rolling woodlands and over one of the Barndoor Hills (great spot for a snack). We will meet at the Barndoor Hills road entrance. Post-hike, anyone wishing to can join us for a late lunch at the Cambridge House Brew Pub near Granby Center.  Please wear appropriate clothing layers and bring food and water for the hike. This event is co-listed with Chiltern Mountain club.
