Tarrywile Park HIke

Please join me for this 5-6 mile hike along the varied trails of this beautiful park owned by the City of Danbury (see www.tarrywile.com for much more information).  We'll start the hike by walking around the ruins of Hearthstone Castle (a spectacular private residence built in 1899 and now largely in ruins; see www.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearthstone_Castle for details and photos).  Then we'll explore the rest of the park, traversing the undulating terrain while passing by several water features and stopping for lunch at the Mootry Peak lookout.  Return to parking area around 3PM.  If anyone is interested in coming up on MetroNorth, arrangements can be made to meet the 10:10 arrival in Danbury and get you back on the 4:37 later in the afternoon.
