New Years Day Hike

What a way to celebrate the new year!  The weather was perfect and Fitzgerald lake was just beautiful!  I think everyone had a good time and lots to eat afterwards;  the soup was gone and I had 1 piece of toasted coconut cream cake left...Happy New Year!

This is my 10th annual hike that I'm leading on New Year's Day for a local land trust and thought I'd post it on Go Outdoors as well.  This year we'll be meeting at the Fitzgerald Lake Conservation Area in Florence, Massaschusetts.  The North Farms Road entrance.  We'll go about an hour and a half to two hours.  I then have people over to my house for some soup and conversation.  The hike is pretty easy; Fitzgerald Lake is beautiful.    Happy New Year!
