Solstice Gathering Holiday Party & Hike

Sunday December 21 is the Winter Solstice and you are invited to come to the edge of the Brushy Mountains for a rural get together at the farm.  An opportunity to meet some of our members, we will mark the change of the season on the shortest day of the year.  This will be a potluck, so please bring a dish and beverage to share.  Depending on the weather, we might eat indoors, but afterwards will enjoy a hike around the farm and up on Grassy Knob Mtn to enjoy the sunset.  Bring a bright/orange piece of clothing for the hike, as it's still deer hunting season.  Also, if anyone wishes to arrive Saturday and camp, we could do a small control burn Saturday afternoon.  Other activities could include a bonfire and visit to a local winery.
