Annual CT Summer Hike & BBQ

Only 4 memebers showed up for this event but we had a good time.  Went to Devil's Hopyard State Park for a leisurely 3.5 mile hike, having lunch at the vista point overlooking the adjacent valley.  Back at the cottage we fired up the grille for hamburgers with salads and ice cream & cookies for dessert.  Beautiful weather and good company made for a great day with GO buddies.

Please join me for a 4 - 6 mile hike in a local CT state park in southeast CT (TBD), after which we'll return to my cottage @ Amston Lake for a swim followed by a BBQ potluck dinner. You should bring a lunch for the hike and then a beverage of your choice plus either a salad course, main dish or dessert to share with the group at the dinner. Also, please bring a bathing suit and towel if you might want to swim in the lake.
