Chalk Pavement Art Record Attempt

Groups and individuals of all ages will be participating over the course of three days (July 12-14) to create an enormous chalk drawing on the parking lot of West Haven High School.  This project has already been approved by Guinness for the Book of World Records.  While the artwork has already been designed (see the "child and horseshoe crab" picture attached here), everyone will be encouraged to add their own creativity.

I think a GO group would be great fun.  Meet at my house at 5, and we can bike and/or carpool to the High School.  We can chalk for a couple of hours, then if some are interested, go for a swim, followed by dinner to a nearby restaurant (quite a few good ones to choose from).

You can learn more about the project by going to its website, www.chalkville.org/about.
