About this event
5/10/13: Moved this from it's original date (tomorrow, 5/11/13, 70% chance of rain) to Sunday (5/12/13, 20% chance of rain) as everyone on the list dropped off b/c of the rain... So, do what you were going to do on Sunday tomorrow and come hiking with me and the dogs on Sunday!
Join me, Puck and Compass as we hike to Mount Ascutney's North Peak and the observation tower near the summit from which there are 360-degree views to Vermont's Green Mountains, New Hampshire's White Mountains, and Massachusetts' Berkshires, in addition to New Hampshire's Mounts Cardigan and Monadnock. For those not wishing to climb the 24.5-foot tower, there are good views available from some other lookout points.
This hike follows the steadily uphill Windsor Trail, blazed in white, all the way to the summit. Total distance from the trailhead to the summit is 2.7 miles.
