Halfway Pond Winter Hike

Join me for an afternoon walk to start the New Year. We will walk an easy 5-6 miles around the woods and cranberry bogs of Halfway Pond. The walk will be on back dirt roads and trails through the Halfway Pond Conservation Area, the newly aquired conservation areas on the pond's south shore, and along the Agawam River. With most of it's 4 mile shoreline protected, Halfway Pond and the adjoining conservation areas encompass the largest protected area on the South Shore. After the walk we can hed to downtown Plymouth for something to eat and to explore the historic waterfront.
