World's End Tour
Spectacular day, spectacular views, great company! Murph: Some pictures from the trip Luis
The trip report
Nine GOers met and enjoyed a leisurely stroll over this wonderful piece of property jutting out into the ocean. Once on a short list for United Nations sites and later for a nuclear power plant, Frederick Law Olmstead left his mark on the property with tree lined roads which serve as groomed hiking paths today. Spring wild flowers decorated the landscape. The weather was ideal with temps approaching high 70's. Lunch on a highest knoll afforded views of the Boston Harbor and tall buildings of Boston 15 miles away. Great trip. Easy commaderie. Let's do it again.
