Whiteface & Passaconaway

Please join me for this challenging 12 mile loop hike to the summits of Whiteface (4015') and Passaconaway (4060').  Both peaks are tree-covered but there are views from ledges close to each summit.  From the Ferncroft parking area we'll ascend Whiteface via the Blueberry Ledge trail, traverse the ridge on the Rollins trail to Dicey Mill to the summit of Passaconaway.  Descend via Walden (very strenuous) and Old Mast Road trails.  Please bring clothing layers, water (there's a spring near Passaconaway), snacks and lunch.  Good, sturdy hiking shoes/boots are a must.
