About this event

I have reserved a group site at Lamoine State Park in Lamoine, ME. http://www.maine.gov/cgi-bin/online/doc/parksearch/details.pl?park_id=16 The campground is a small beautiful place on the water and across the bay from Bar Harbor. It once was a coaling station for the Navy. We will camp from Thursday to Sunday. From the campground Acadia National Park is about 15 minutes away. There are plenty of opportunites for hikes of all degrees of difficulties, biking the parks carriage roads (rentals are availible) and kayaking local waters both fresh lakes and ocean bays. I am planning on visiting the Cutler Preserve foarther up the coast . Attendies can come together to plan activities or head out on their own. The group may decide to come together for a dinner or meals but attendies are responsible for their own meals. The camping fees will be low and dependent on the number of attendies. I have invited two other gay groups to the camping weekend so there might be a few women attending.

Probably won't be able to give anybody a ride as I am bringing all of my kayak gear and some special chairs for my dicy back. Cannot wait to kayak the area again. Have done the bay to Ilse au Haute just two years ago.
