Tubing in Watermelon Park

We will be tubing down the relaxing Shanandoah river.  I went tubing  down the river last year and had a great time.  Forget about the city as this is more country and very low key, just make sure you don't do anything you want your Mama to learn about.  Watermelon Park is about an hours drive from DC. The cost is $10+tax to go tubing. I will be at the rental store or by the tube storage.

You may opt to camp over the weekend, but I will more than likely stay in town as I have friends in the area.  Email privately if you would like to know more about accomadations,

I am willing to carpool (I live in Alexandria, VA); however, I am planning on driving out Friday night and/or Saturday morning and coming back Sunday afternoon. I will be staying at the George Wasthington Saturday night; so I will not be returning until Sunday afternoon. Email if you have questions.
