About this event
Halfway Pond is a large mostly undeveloped lake in Southeasten MA. In recent years most of it's shoreline and surrounding woods have been put into conservation. It is part of a 14,000 acre conservation area. We will hike cart paths and trails for 5-7 miles as we explore this wonderful area. We will pass through a number of globally rare habitats. After the hike we can venture to Plymouth's historic waterfront for dinner and a walk along the harbor. Dogs are welcomed on leases and this trip will have members of the Chiltern Mountain Club along. Wear safety orange if you have it.
