The trip report
Got a late start but still managed to hit the trail by 9:30. Made it to Pillsbury around 4:30 and kept a nice leisurely pace. Couldn't ask for a better day and still plenty of foliage. Great view of Lake Sunapee and many nice vantage points along the way. Thanks to Craig, Dan, and Jeff for making it a great day. Todd

About this event
We'll start our day hiking up the Province trail in Goshen to the summit of Mt Sunappe, we'll descend Sunapee to Lake Solitude and hike along the Greenway for approximately 11 miles. After the initial ascent up Sunapee the rest of the hike is relatively moderate. Foliage should be at or just a little past peak so bring your camera. Lots of nice views all along the trail. We'll exit via the Bear Pond Trail in Pillsbury State Park. There may be a minimal park fee for Pillsbury State Park. Listed as strenuous due to length.
I forgot to mention, this is a point to point hike so there will be some waiting around while we spot cars. I checked with Pillsbury people today and there is only a minimal parking fee of 4 bucks per vehicle and I'm thinking we'll only need to spot a couple so minimal fees. Added a couple of scans of the trail itself. For those interested Craig and I will be hosting a Spaghetti Social afterwards. Todd
