About this event
Bartlett Burgers and Dogs A Social Potluck Picnic and Gathering
Two hikes being offered in this area for the weekend (Lowe’s Bald Spot and Glen Boulder). Some travelers may wish to spend the night camping or staying locally. This picnic is open to anyone on the scheduled hikes or not. A central grill (or 2) will be open. Please bring your own grill items as well as simple snack food to share with others. BYOB! Folks are welcome to wander in around 4pm. A host will be here to greet people if I am not off the trail in time.
There is no set limit on number of guests.
Overnight Accomidations
If travelers wish to camp over night at my home please feel free to bring a tent. I do have some open floor space if others would rather slumber indoors. There are also many other local options (campgrounds, motels, inns, B&B etc) please feel free to email me for suggestions.
Kitchen is available for breakfast needs. Hot showers are also available as hot water lasts.
Pets – Pets are always welcome. Please bring a leash in case of other pets. My home is open to all animals but my THREE cats do rule the roost. All visiting pets must be CAT FRIENDLY. Please email a heads up if you intend to travel with your four legged friends.
Directions – Participants will be emailed directly my directions as folks sign up. However my home is located approximately 5 mins from North Conway Village and Cranmore Ski Area. For those who may need a quick reference point.
Food and Beverage
· Grills will start around 5pm.
· BYOB, ice will be available for storage and use.
· Please bring your own items to grill – simple condiments will be available.
· In addition please bring simple snack food to share with a group. (i.e. chips and dip or salsa)
· Paper items will be available.
· Lawn Chairs are few here so it is suggested you bring your own if you do not want to sit on the ground.
· IMPORTANT As I try to remain open to all healthy and special diet needs, I suggest that if you require special foods that you bring what you need and not count on others to know or provide. One grill will be set up for “NON MEAT” cooking.
