About this event
You won't find a closer waterfall hike to the DC area, and with the trees bare, the views of the Potomac from the cliffs are stunning. We will hike a 3-mile circuit trail. Meet at 11am on Sunday, November 8th.
Directions from the Capital Beltway: Leave the Beltway at Exit 44 - Georgetown Pike/Rte 193, just over the American Legion Bridge on the VA side. From the top of the exit ramp, follow Rte 193 West. After 0.2 mile, pass a small parking lot for Scotts Run [do not park here]. Continue another 0.4 mile and turn right into a large parking lot next to Scotts Run and adjacent to the intersection of Rte 193 and Swinks Mill Road. Look for a tall guy with a terrier standing by a green VW Passat wagon.
