North Moat Mountain Hike

Please join me for a hike to the 3201’ summit of North Moat Mountain via Diana’s Baths in North Conway.  Largely in woods, there are occasional views of the surrounding peaks and valleys to reward the effort of the 2700’, 5.5 mile ascent via Moat Mtn Trail to the Red Ridge Trail by which we’ll descend.  Total hiking distance = 10.2 miles (more if there’s time and interest in going to Middle and South summits).  

Directions: Please enter “Dianas Bath Rd, North Conway NH” in GoogleMaps (or equivalent).  Parking area (WMNF sticker/fee required) is signed on the west side of River Road, 0.7 miles north of Cathedral Ledge Road.  Meet no later than 9:45AM.  For anyone coming up Route 16 who wants to carpool from Center Ossipee (03814), exit Route 16 @ Route 25E (Freedom/Effingham/Portland ME).  Turn right onto 25E then immediate left onto Hodsdon Shore  Road (opposite R&L Pizza) and pull over onto the shoulder to the right.  Meet no later than 8:45.  Contact @ 603-539-5647 and cell 860-478-6282
