About this event

The peaks of the Franconia Range are among the White Mountains' most spectacular.  Join us for this classic traverse of three peaks: Little Haystack, Lincoln, and Lafayette.

Trip magnitude, Pace and Duration: We will cover 8.8 miles of distance,  with 3,850' of vertical gain.  We will be undertaking it at a moderate pace, and expect to finish around 5pm.

What to Bring:  You'll want to be sure to bring comfortable (previously tested over distances), stable shoes, shell clothing in case of sudden rain or harsh winds, lunch, energy snacks, and 2-3 quarts of water depending on temperature.  For a full recommended list, check out the 'hiking gear list' link below.

Meeting Time and Location: 9:30am at the Old Bridle Path/Falling Waters trailhead on the east side of I-93, across from the Lafayette Place Campground.
