blackhead mountain - catskill 3500
completed the last of four required winter peaks for the catskill 3500 club.
The trip report
a beautiful day on the trail. very cold, but intermittently sunny. after a long gradual climb, this trail gets challenging as you climb up the ridge. after a series of moderate switchbacks, one more steep climb to the summit. snapped a couple photos of the view, but too cold to linger. excellent hike. i never thought i would enjoy winter hiking as much as i am.
