About this idea
I am the trip leader, and looking to take a nudist camping trip the weekend of May 19th to 21st, 2023 in the Colorado Rockies. I am looking for some input regarding my planned itinerary.
It will be my first time in the Rockies (originally I've done this at Upper Creek Falls in NC). My rough itinerary right now is
- 18th - traveling to South Canyon Hot Springs in the late evening
- 19th - staying there most of the 19th, then Penny, sleeping there
- 20th - Conundrum on the 20th and 21st
- 22nd - Early departure
Let me know if you know of any cool, secluded spots to tent/car camp, preferably nearby the clothing optional springs. I'd like to avoid paying for the resorts, mostly because it's too busy and I prefer to be in the wild - thanks!

I haven't been to South Canyon Hot Springs in a few years. The property is owned by Glenwood Springs and although we proved the city can not destroy the springs, they have occasionally destroyed the pools. It's about a 9 mile hike to the Conundrum Hot Springs and you'll need a permit to camp overnight. This is springtime in the Rockies after a winter with above average snowfall. I didn't find any campsites available for Saturday night at https://www.recreation.gov/permits/273336 .
