I can host a couple of people in Barre Town (twin beds). Prohibition Pig is not bad but Idyll Time or the Van Trapp tap room (both in Stowe) are nicer if you want to sit outside. --Frank

FYI, regarding lodging at Best Western. Space is still available while it lasts and Mitch states it's currently $438 per night. I did not book a bunch of rooms under GO at Best Western so you are on your own regarding where you plan to stay if you choose to. You are most welcome to book accommodations elsewhere. I have not finalized the dinner plans for Friday night but it will be in Waterbury, VT. If interested, let me know.

Hi Mike. Could you confirm that we meet at the following coordinates: https://www.google.com/maps/place/44.53332,-72.78663? I got it from what I believe we are hiking: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/vermont/the-chin-via-long-and-profanity-trail. Thanks. --Frank

Fred & I are having problems getting boarding for the dogs -- we are on a wait list. We'll stay signed up until at least Friday should circumstances change.

Sorry I won't be able to make it. I've had a sore throat and no energy and seems to be getting worse. Luckily home test kit showed (-) for COVID. Have fun!

If you have not yet made lodging RSVP, a GO member is offering to put up several hikers at his condo in Warren (FREE) . It’s 17 mi south of Waterbury on v-100 & sugarbush access rd. Across the road are several good swimming holes in the Mad River. It’s also 6 miles from long trail at Lincoln Gap and 8 miles from Appalachian Gap. There’s also a hostel next door. Let me know if interested and I'll share contact information.
