Sunday, Sep 22nd Hike, Dark Hollow Falls Loop, Shenandoah NP

Details

This is a 3 mile round trip up-and-back hike. The hike is a great Sunday morning hike.  We’ll start from Big Meadows campground and jump on the Story of the Forest Trail and head down to Skyline Drive where we’ll cross the street and head down Dark Hollow Falls trail and admire the many water falls all the way down.  We’ll head back the same way we came.

Bring water, hiking poles, bug spray, and sweat rag.  It is a very good idea to have a RAIN PONCHO just in case!

Directions

Skyline Drive mile marker 50.7 and look for Dark Hollow Falls parking lot.
