Tha Manhan Rail Trail winds its way through Easthampton, a typical New England factory town brimming with commerce and community, as well as historical and natural sites galore. Located in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts, the original 4-mile trail as recently been expanded.to go further south into Southampton. We will bike a total of 4 hours Sunday. Starting at the bike trail's entrance on North Street / US 5 we will bike 2 hours on the trail and then, at the 2 hour mark we will turn around and make our way back to the trailhead on US 5. There will be plenty of opportunities to stop for something to eat along the trail if people wish. please bring water and a lock for your bike in case we stop for something.

To reach trailhead parking on US Hwy 5 take the Turnpike/interstate 91, take 1-91 north to exit 18 and head south on US Hwy 5 to Easthampton, right before you hit East street heading into Easthampton you will see the trailhead for the Manhan Trail on the right
