This is the 2nd year for this fun and relaxing event, which books up very quickly! We will arrive late afternoon/early evening Friday and stay through Sunday afternoon.
We have two separate rooms with 4 bunks each available for the weekend at a cost of $50 per person. All linen, blankets and towels are provided. We have two full bathrooms. Did we mention we have beautiful mountain views from the house and the stargazing at night from the deck is incredible!
We will start the weekend on Friday with a fireside welcome and social. You are welcome to cook your own dinner on our stove if you did not get a chance to have dinner before you arrive. Please note that the entire weekend is BYOB so bring your own beer and wine to drink.
Saturday and Sunday mornings we’ll have coffee and bagels with your choice of fixings. After breakfast on Saturday, we’ll head out to Waterville Valley for some cross-country skiing on groomed trails that also offers equipment rentals. Waterville Valley has a superb network of groomed trails. One of the best in the New Hampshire! We’ll have lunch in the downhill ski lodge however still wear a day pack so you can de-layer as needed, carry water and have some snacks to replenish energy.
We ski a combination of easier and intermediate trails. There are loops in varying difficulties so in some cases we split up based on skill levels and meet-up at a pre-determined location. We can make it work for you and ensure you have a good time!
Afterwards we will get back together at the house beside the fireplace for snacks and a BYOB happy hour followed by a casual home-cooked dinner prepared by Jon. Post dinner is time for playing games such as "Jenga" and "Werewolves; and viewing pictures of the day on the big screen TV. Bring along your favorite beverages for the weekend and snacks to share on Friday & Saturday nights.
