Spruce Hill/Hoosac Range Hike
Spruce Hill/Hoosac Range trail is a nice moderate hike.
Details
This is a popular hiking destination due to the fact that there are several breathtaking views in many different directions along the ridge within a relatively short distance and because the hike is not particularly difficult. The trails in along the ridge are well maintained and are very easy to follow. From this area, you will see Mt. Greylock, the Taconic Range on the New York border, The Dome in Vermont and possibly some other surprises on a clear day. The total hiking time is about five and half hours and the total distance is about six miles round trip. We will meet at 9:30. Dogs are welcome as both poeple leading the trip will have there dogs. Keep in mind it is hunting season, so wear some type of bright clothing. If there is interest I would like to do a bond fire and potluck at my house after. Please e-mail me if you are interested
Directions
