This year's Vermont XC Ski Getaway will be in the resort town of Stowe, Vermont.  Skiers of all abilities are welcome.  There are over 100 km of groomed trails in four touring centers, plus free skiing on Stowe's 5-mile Recreation Path.  Stowe gets plenty of snow: during last winter's snow drought, when even most of Vermont had no skiing, Stowe had over 80 days of groomed cross-country skiing.

We'll be staying in 2-bedroom suites at the Stowe Motel, conveniently located a 10-minute drive from the major touring centers and a short walk from the Recreation Path.  Each suite has a private kitchen and a living room with a fireplace.

The trip fee of $240 per person includes 3 nights' accommodations, continental breakfasts, and Friday night's dinner; it does not include trail fees or ski rental.  Deposit of $100 to reserve your place on the trip; payment in full must be received by January 8, 2013. Cancellations after January 8, 2013 will forfeit the $100 deposit.

We also welcome skiers who wish to join us for a day trip without staying overnight in Stowe.

Take I-89 in Vermont to exit 10.  Take Vermont route 100 north for about 10 miles to Stowe.  At the stop sign, turn left onto Vermont route 108 north. Take route 108 for about 2 miles.  The Stowe Motel is on the left; its address is 2043 Mountain Road.
