Shining Sea Bikeway Bike Ride

A Fall bike ride on Cape Cod

Details

Join me for an easy 20 mile bike ride on the Shining Sea Bikeway in Falmouth, MA. This is a quiet time of year on Cape Cod. We will bike through salt marshes, cranberry bogs, and along beaches on our way to Woods Hole. In the village we will stop for lunch and explore a lighthouse. On the way back we will detour to West Falmouth Harbor and the beach at Chappaquoid Beach.

Directions

We will meet at the parking area at the northern terminus of the bikeway on County Road, North Falmouth. Take the Bourne Bridge on to Cape Cod and Route 28. Follow Route 28 south to the Route 151 exit. Take the exit and at the bottom of the ramp take a left on to Route 151 east (County Road). Shortly after crossing Route 28A cross the railroad tracks and the parking area is immediately on your right. I will be driving my Ford Ranger.
