Details

Please join me for a weekend of camping at Mountainside Campground in SE New Hampshire.  The campground has a variety of options including tent and camper sites, cabins, and a bunkhouse.  Rates are very affordable, and the campground has a complete outdoor kitchen/canteen for preparing meals.

You may arrive anytime after 1PM on Friday and stay until Monday morning if pre-arranged with the owners.  The campground is only open on weekends, and day-tripping and drive-ups are not permitted.  This is a clothing optional campground, so you should be comfortable with nudity.

We'll start the weekend with a Friday night campfire (around 9PM).  Saturday will be a free day for those not interested in attending the Frog Meadow fundraiser in nearby VT.  Sunday morning we'll have a guided hike starting from the campground at 9:30AM followed by an afternoon of swimming at the Ledges (~1PM).  You may stay at the campground on Sunday night, but this should be arranged with the owners when you make your reservation.

Directions

Mountainside campground is located in Hinsdale, NH, and is easily accessed from I-91 and Rt. 119.  To maintain privacy, the campground owners have a policy of only releasing their address when you book your stay.  They will be happy to assist you with directions at that time.  This campground requires reservations and does not allow day-tripping or drive-ups.  You may make reservations by phone or email.  Book early if you want to reserve lodging such as a cabin or bunkhouse bed.

Phone: 603-398-7871

Day-tippers are more than welcome to join us at the Ledges on Sunday around 1PM.  I'll have a GO sign so you can spot me.  Rain, but not clouds, will cancel the Ledges trip.  The Ledges is part of the Harriman Reservoir. You may go to www.swimmingholes.org for more details and directions.

We're signed up to also go to the swimming and Frog Meadows fundraiser (both GO events also posted on the site. They'll be Saturday morning and afternoon respectively.) We can accommodate one or two others if anyone is also is thinking to go and would like a ride.

Hey guys. If anyone's interested in pooling our resources and culinary creativity for cooking let me know. I would be up for making egg mc muffin type sandwiches for Sat breakfast if anyone else is interested. Let me know.

Hi Guys-

Looking forward to another great BBQ, the weather will be in the mid 80's and should be PERFECT!
I'm not sure that all of you have RSVP'd or bought tickets online (I know Jim and Adam have) so if you’ve not already, please go to http://store.frogmeadow.com/ and pre-buy your ticket (preferred) or send me an RSVP via email [scott @ frogmeadow.com] and we’ll have your names at the registration desk & have an accurate headcount for food.
Thanks & see you Saturday!
