Acadia National Park Camping Trip

A long weekend of Camping on the bay across from Acadia National Park

Details

Join me for a long weekend of camping at Lamoine State Park in Lamoine Maine. We are camping Thursday-Sunday. The park is directly on the water and across the bay from Mt. Desert and Acadia National Park. I have reserved a group area for campers as I did last year. The area offers plenty of activities including biking on the carriage roads in Acadia National Park, kayaking on the bay or one the parks lakes, and plenty of hiking. Bring your self reliance. I will have ideas for activities but will rely on the group and individuals to organize what activities they want to do. Last year we came together and had a great group dinner on Saturday night. I hope this year we can do the same. Please sign up only if your serious about joining us. A camping weekend this far from home takes some logistics and it is helpful for me to know how many are attending. Last year I had a number of no shows from GO sign up. I will be emailing participants with further details the week before the camping trip on our accomidations. The cost for camping is minimal.

Directions

Lamoine State Park is off of Maine Route 184 near it's end at the water. Take Maine Route 1 north through Ellsworth and Route 184 will be on your right.
