Mt Minsi Hike

Nice loop hike of 5.4 miles to top of Mt. Minsi in Delaware Water Gap; afternoon at Rainbow Mountain Resort.

Details

This hike takes you all the way to the summit of Mt. Minsi on the white-blazed Appalachian Trail with an elevation gain of 1,060 feet in 2 miles. Beautiful views of Delaware Water Gap and Mt. Tammany from summit. More graduate descent down fire road, with potential for several short side trails on way down. Bring water and snack. Afterwards, we will have lunch and spend afternoon at Rainbow Mountain Resort, which features a beautiful large swimming pool. Please bring swim attire if you plan to attend. I have informed a leader of Philaventures, the local Philly LGBT outdoor group, to informally let their members know about this event.

I have tried posting photos, but each time I get an error. I even tried taking two photos and resizing them to make them smaller, but still getting errors. I will write to GO administrators, but won't be able to get to it now until end of the week at earliest.
