Wolsfeld Woods SNA Morning HIke

This will be a nice morning hike through some of Minnesota's original "Big Woods".

Details

On this hike we will see a few different tree species: red oak, ironwood, butternut, maple, elm and basswood.

It should be a pretty easy hike and it looks like we'll have fantastic weather this weekend, maybe even in the 40's!

The trails are supposedly not marked very well. I will be taking photos along the way and marking waypoints with my GPS.

Directions

From U.S. Highway 12 at Long Lake, go to Brown Road and travel north 0.8 mile. At the intersection with County Road 6, park directly across the road in the Trinity Lutheran Church lot. A small sign in the northeast corner of the lot leads to the trail.
