Mount Hunger - Waterbury Center, Vermont

Hike Mount Hunger (south summit 3,539 ft), a hike of 2.2 miles, elevation change 2,290ft.

Details
Hunger Mountain is nice to hike because of the lack of development. Hunger has views of the Green Mountains to the west and Groton State Forest and the White Mountains of New Hampshire to the east.
Figure on about 2 hours to summit, return a bit less.
After hike, we may have the option of joining VGSA event at Cider House BBQ and Pub (1675 US Route 2/PO Box 34, Waterbury, Vermont 05676); check out VGSA web site for more details.
