Mother's Day on Mt. Roberts

Mother's Day hike to Mt. Roberts - Call Mom on your cell from the top

Details

Enjoy great views of the lake and the Whites from this 2582 ft peak. If Mom isn't close by, why not call her from the peak while basking in some spring sunshine?

The hike itself is a moderate, steady incline over rocky terrain. Nothing too steep but not a walk in the park either. We'll gain 1300 feet of altitude and should attain the summit around 1, where we'll have lunch, and I'll excuse myself to call my mother. Eat a good breakfast!

I was there on 4/25 and there was some snow left. Bring gaiters, layers, water and lunch, bug repellant and sunscreen. Typical stuff for a New England spring hike.

Directions
