From the trailhead, we'll follow the trail through 3 miles of old growth Redwood forest to Fern Falls, a small waterfall, and then hike back the way we came in. The hike itself isn't too challenging as it's mostly flat. The real draw is the Redwood forest and the soft forest floor lined with ferns.
