30 mile easy to moderate ride thru the rolling hills and dales or Concord and Carlisle.....midweek get away....suppose to be 80 on Wednesday so should be a glorious day for a ride.

Details
This will be a 25 mile loop of rolling countryside with 2 short good size hills and few glorious downhills....on secondary and back roads. At a moderate pace...I am not Lance Armstrong so no worries.
We will begin and end in Concord Center at Monument Square by the Flag Pole where Lexington Street, Bedford Road, Lowell Road and Main Street all intersect.
From Boston follow Rte 2 to the split....do not turn left at the split but go straight ahead to the end Cambridge Turnpike, bare left onto Lexington Street at the end and then look for parking on the right across from the big White church....the meeting point in the square will be a block further up in front of you as you face toward Concord Center behind the Flag Pole.
Please bring a helmet and water, several great sandwich places back at the Square which we will be returning to at the end of the ride. and able to relax and compare sore spots afterward. Total trip including stops etc. should be about 2.5 ...maps of route will be provided.
Make sure to wear to layers as fall days can be tricky with changing temps during the course of the day.
